From auction rooms to alternative gallery
Meeting with Fanny & Olivia

Fanny and Olivia met at the prestigious auction room Christies when they were specialized in impressionism and modern art.
Wilo & Grove born from a clear fact : despite a great auction diversity and a nice and attractive selection of galleries, the art world is a closed universe, and it’s not that easy to enter when you are a beginner.
They had the idea to propose a warm and welcoming safe space, where they could invite clients for everywhere and with every budget, to break art gallery classical codes.

Wilo&Grove
Artistic loft with personal consultations

“Our motto : you can do a very serious and professional job without taking yourself too seriously”.
In Wiloft space, Fanny and Olivia likes to deconstruct with kindness all behaviours about art, and propose to their clients, often here to buy their first art piece, an affordable and personal selection of artworks from around 40 different artists with various expertises : painting, sculpting, photography, or ceramics are mixed together in their loft and “have a nice conversation” without being cannibalized.
The strength of the project is it’s personal approach : Fanny & Olivia source during art conventions or on social media, their next artistic crushes, artworks they would love to have in their own place.

The Wiloft :
An arty showroom in the heart of his neighborhood

Wilo & Grove has 3 main activities to reinvent a modern way for art gallery.
Normally, Fanny & Olivia receive at their loft as in their own apartment the clients with a meeting appointment, and give to them a private consultation with some advices, to help them find their art crush.
Their website is a great platform as well to sell the artworks to more knowledgeable clients.
Finally, twice a year, they organize Pop Up stores in Paris, opened to the public all week during an entire month. Pop Up Stores are a nice way to share the artworks gallery with their guests and being opened as a real shop during a short time.

What makes the Wiloft unique and full of life is perhaps her history : in 2012, Fanny moved into this old printery house nested in a secret backyard of the 9th district of Paris.
The factory was transformed in the 80’s in a nice apartment designed as a loft. Some old elements were conserved from the old activity and contributes to the charm of the place, as the light sign outside the building and the mezzanine and her large library.

Later, Fanny & Olivia naturally decided to invite their customers to discover their artwork collection displayed in this atypical loft.
They fell in love with this authentic, multicultural and multifaceted neighborhood. Artisans and old factories are kindly mixed with new hype restaurants and fancy groceries in this small village full of charm and humanity.

Bring Art at Home

As Maison Mère, Wilo & Grove wants to become a hybrid place with flexible contours, where humans and art manage themselves and disrupt together mainstream lifestyle codes.
When we asked Fanny & Olivia about the importance of art in a home interior, they explained to us naturally : “Having a place who look like us is way more simple with artworks. Artworks are unique, and the choice of an artwork instead of another will give to your home a singular and unique mood. It’s a way to personalize your environment and your decoration, to feel at home and make your everyday more beautiful (...) For us, a home without art is a home without something special!”
