To start your culinary journey, leave from rue Mayran, the street of our 4-star hotel Maison Mère, located in the heart of the 9th arrondissement of Paris. Head towards rue du Faubourg Montmartre. After only a 6-minute walk, you will arrive at Monbleu, artisan cheese makers and restaurateurs. You'll find an incredible selection of artisanal cheeses and a small but delicious menu to eat at if you feel like it. You can't visit Paris (and France!) without tasting some exceptional cheeses.

Rue Condorcet is also full of good addresses and we particularly like L'Extra Brut, a champagne cellar and bar which offers a sourced selection of authentic champagnes from talented houses or winemakers in a warm and educational place. Benoît, the owner, cares about transmitting his knowledge and passion in a relaxed way.

In the same street before the intersection with rue des Martyrs, you will find a bakery that is a must in the neighbourhood, an authentic and family address: Mamiche. It's the ideal place to enjoy a well-deserved pastry after a walk full of discoveries. A special mention to their ham and butter sandwiches and their incredible homemade ice cream.

Before turning back to Maison Mère, make a slight diversion to rue Lamartine, where you will find a charming Korean restaurant at number 28: Pik Nik. You can enjoy bibimbaps prepared in front of you, a typical and very fashionable dish at the moment.

Go back down the rue Marguerite de Rochechouart and stop at Snack Attack, choose between sandwiches and tacos or gourmet salads, but above all save room for one of their homemade cookies with fleur de sel!
